“TRAMPLED UNDER FOOT Wins the 2008 International Blues Challenge!”

February 5, 2008 - Kansas City, MO – SoundGate Productions is pleased to announce that local blues band “TRAMPLED UNDER FOOT” won the 2008 International Blues Challenge, (IBC), on Saturday, February 2, 2008.

This years three day annual blues contest, held in Memphis, Tennessee, involved 99 bands from 6 different continents, 10 countries, and 36 states, all vying for the coveted title of “Best Blues Band in the World”. Each of the 99 bands had to first win their respective local/regional competition in order to get an entry into the IBC.

“Trampled Under Foot”, also know as “TUF”, won their local competition which is annually sponsored by The Kansas City Blues Society, in order to compete. This local sibling trio all hail from the Kansas City area and are proud to call Kansas City their hometown. They perform throughout the Midwest and east coast on a regular basis.
